Continental Invoice Factors Africa (CIFA) is a private company headquartered in Johannesburg South Africa. CIFA provides reverse invoice discounting, factoring and accounts receivable finance for companies that require cash flow funding on the back of goods and services they have delivered to and accepted by their blue chip customer. Unlike normal invoice factoring, CIFA deals with the blue chip customer directly in order to target its clients (suppliers) indirectly. In other words, we provide funding to SMME on the back of the strong balance sheet of the blue chip customer. In this way, we solve the lack of access to conventional working capital loans from normal banks. CIFA will be opening country offices in the rest of the continent, using its backbone web enabled infrastructure based in Johannesburg.
